AC Motor repairs
WEBB-ELEC LTD specialises in the repair of all types of AC induction motors, both 3 and single phase from small fractional horsepower units to approximately 300kw. Standard squirrel cage motors are catered for as the simplest type of motor. Full testing is available from Growler testing for rotor faults to a 3 phase oscilloscope test. All rewinds are carried out to class F insulation or class H if required by the customer.
As well as rewinding, a full mechanical service is available for shaft repair or manufacture, bearing journal repair and any other mechanical requirements. Bearings are replaced as standard practice on all repairs. When repaired, the motor is fully tested, both statically and then dynamically and a complete set of test results are taken and recorded. All motor rewinds are guaranteed for 12 months on the work that WEBB-ELEC has carried out and you as the customer are always guaranteed the swiftest possible response.
